"Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." – Aristotle
Art has always been my way of understanding myself. As a fine artist specializing in traditional realism—focusing on painting, drawing, and photography—I see my work as an extension of my identity, emotions, and personal history.
I’m currently pursuing my BFA in Fine Arts at Pace University, with a minor in creative writing. Being adopted from a family of artists, I’ve always felt that creating is more than just a passion—it’s a way to connect with my roots. Over time, I’ve realized that much of my work, especially my photography, feels deeply intimate and personal, reflecting who I am and what I value.
My art is heavily influenced by super-saturated colors and singular subjects, drawing viewers into a deeper connection with the piece. In a world where minimalism has stripped away so much vibrancy, I strive to bring back a childlike wonder of color—a reminder of the beauty that often gets overlooked. Inspired by works like Odilon Redon’s Pandora, Vincent van Gogh’s Almond Blossom, and Johannes Vermeer’s The Girl with the Pearl Earring, I blend classical influences with bold, expressive storytelling.
Beyond painting and photography, I also explore black-and-white film and poetry, each offering a different lens into my world. This portfolio is my most honest and vulnerable self, shared through art. I invite you to explore, connect, and hopefully, see a reflection of your own story in my work.
I wanted to extend a special thanks to a few inspirational people in my personal life. First, my dads who have supported me throughout my roller coaster of a career in art and photography. Through the ever-changing goals in my personal and professional life. I got truly lucky in the lottery of where I could end up.
As well as, Miss Abigail Young. The woman who helped guide me into my passion of art, and my skills in life.
And all my friends and family who have always stood by me.
